Taking inspiration from the homonymous  traditional art form originated in India, in which geometric patterns are created on the floor in order to bring positivity to a household, ‘Rangoli’ is a performance where two different art disciplines, Dance and Painting, come together on a stage embodied by a single canvas.

 

The contrast between the movements of the dancer and the action of painting, gives form to a unique visual representation of an encounter that symbolizes both a confrontation and an alliance.
